The City of Bainbridge Island is one of 20 communities in the United States to receive a BetterBuildings award from U.S. Department of Energy in July 2010. RePower Bainbridge is funded in part by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and implemented in part by Positive Energy and the City of Bainbridge Island. RePower Bainbridge partners include City of Bainbridge Island, Puget Sound Energy, Conservation Services Group, Positive Energy, Sierra Club, Kitsap Credit Union, Worksource Kitsap, Olympic Community College, and Washington State Department of Commerce.
